During
PGY-3 of residency, the change in emphasis from hospital
medicine to ambulatory care continues.
While there are several required rotations, as well as a stint as
Family Medicine Chief, residents customize their education through
electives. Many residents choose to participate in an
off-site rotation outside the Duluth area to better understand the
particular demands of rural Family Medicine.
