The Duluth Family
Medicine Residency Program combines a strong hospital experience
with a broad exposure to the ambulatory care aspects of Family Medicine.
There is a gradual shift in emphasis
over the course of the three-year residency.
The required portions of the curriculum conform to the General
Essentials for Residency Training and the Special Requirements for
Residency Training in Family Medicine and are obtained in rotations and longitudinal experiences. The curriculum also includes a wide variety
of electives for third-year residents.
